The Mister World competition is a male beauty pageant sponsored by the Miss World Organization. The competition is biennial and was founded in 1996. The entrants compete in various activities including waterskiing, mountain biking, and marathon running.

The current Mister World is Rohit Khandelwal of India who was crowned on July 19, 2016 in Southport. He is the first ever Asian to be crowned Mister World in the 2016 contest. Traditionally, Mister World lives in London during his reign.

Mister World 1996 the first edition of the Mister World Pageant was held on September 20, 1996 , in Istanbul, Turkey. About 50 countries competed for the title. Tom Nuyens of Belgium crowned as the very first Mister World in 1996.

Mister World 2007 – Spain (Juan García Postigo)

Mister World 2007, the fifth edition of the Mister World pageant, was held on March 31, 2007 in the tropical island of Sanya, People’s Republic of China. Gustavo Gianetti of Brazil crowned his successor Juan Garcia Postigo of Spain.

Mister World 2007 was televised around the globe. The event was live from the Crown of Beauty Theater. Over the weeks of the competition, the men were tested on their strength, perseverance, mental agility and determination.

Mister World 2010 was the sixth edition of the Mister World male pageant. It was held at Incheon, Korea, the competition began on March 11, 2010 and the final was held at Songdo Convensia on March 27, 2010. 74 delegates competed from all around the world. Juan García Postigo of Spain crowned Kamal Ibrahim of Ireland as the new Mister World 2010 at the end of the event.

Mister World 2012, the seventh edition of the Mister World pageant, was held at the Kent County Showground, Kent, England, on November 24, 2012.[2] Kamal Ibrahim of Ireland crowned Francisco Escobar of Colombia as the new Mister World at the end of the event, with Philippines’ Andrew Wolff being the first runner up and Ireland Leo Delaney as the second.
